How Big is our God: It is not about being right!

A word for us today: How big is our God!

How big is our God? How big is he to forgive our sins and remember them no more as far as the East is from the West? How big is our God when we deserve judgment He gives us grace? He resist the proud but give grace to the humble. Is being right as important as being righteous?

I remember once in a situation where I was being treated wrongly, and what was being done to me was so evil it hurt me badly. I could not understand why another Christian would ever do that to another. What was being done to me, spoken about me hurt.

Every day I had to ask God, do not let my heart become hardened. Every day I would cry out to the Lord to forgive this person. I asked the Lord, "why is this person doing this to me." But I never got an answer for months!

Finally after much agony in prayer the Lord answered me 6 months later and said, "do you see what you hate in that person that is hurting you, that is what is in you. That seed was in King David and I why I allowed Saul to persecute him.

David could have become King Saul II, but through the injustice and being pursued to be killed, David learned my heart. He learned to trust me that vengeance was the Lords. He allowed me to remove the pride that was in Saul from his heart.

When he had the opportunity to Kill Saul twice and came before Saul, David said, "Father, what I have done to you, have I done this evil that you would kill me?" Saul repented for a while and then pursued David again.

The Lord said, "Henry, David would have been "Right" to take justice in his own hands. He had ever reason to not forgive Saul. He had every right to hold a grudge, but he would not. Saul wanted him dead, why not kill him and take the throne now?

But David would not do it. He had to trust God knew what He was doing and that God chose Him and God would establish him by His own hands not by Davids.That day came when Saul and Jonathan were killed. What did David do? Through a party and say "ding dong the witch is dead, the wicked witch is dead?

No beloved, When Saul and Jonathan died, he wept over them. He did not rejoice, "finally they are gone." Why? This man David was a "man after God's heart."

He wanted what God wanted, not what he wanted. He remembered that Saul was God's chosen vessel. He knew not to touch God's anointed and do his prophets no harm. Oh, if we just learn that in the Body of Christ.

When we are faced with evil speaking against us, or injustice done to us, what would we do in those situations? Would we choose as wisely as David? David could have demanded his rights.

He could of taken the throne by force, but he gave up his rights and those rights to allow God to choose? He did not lift His voice against Saul nor slander him to his mighty man. He taught them to honor and respect God.

Beloved is that what we do when we are faced with a wrong or injustice? Do we so quickly become another persons judge and jury, when the Lord said, "before you take the speck ouf of your brother's eye get the plank out of yours?

One of the greatest test we face is when we know we are right about something? We say, "This injustice was really done to me." I deserve not to be treated like taht. I deserve the respect of who I am. I know I faced it. I was tempted to tell everyone what was being done to me and why? I was not wrong!

Even others saw it and said, "why is this person doing this to you?" Yet I could not even bring one accusation, one ounce of defense to defend myself. I had to stop others instantly from speaking against this person and say nothing. I told them don't touch God's anointed.

Beloved, the Lord would let me tell know one but Donna. I had to keep the secret betrayal private. Why? Because it was not between me and that person, or anyone else, it was between me and my God.

What was I going to do? Would I demand revenge, payback? How would I pray for this person? What light was I going to see this person in? Would I judge? Would I condemn." Finally God said, "do you see what is in that person? I said yes Lord it is pride!"

Then the Lord said, "that is what is in you, and you would become just like that if i didn't allow you to see this in this person's life." "Now that you see it, I want to remove from you and in you. I have come to remove those roots so you will never do the the same thing."

I prayed, "Lord is you ever bring me to a place to lead, I pray I will never do to others that which was done to me." I pray by the grace of God I have never done that.

You see what is the lesson of love? It is to FORGIVE OTHERS AS GOD HAS FORGIVEN US! That is what David had to learn. He had to forgive Saul and leave Saul into God's hand to establish or remove.

Phil 2:5 says, Let this same attitude and purpose and [humble] mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus: [Let Him be your example in humility:]"

In my situation the Lord said to me, "Do you understand Henry, you are right in this situation and what is being done to you is evil and wrong, but you can be right going all the way to hell, if you don't forgive."

"There are many in hell who took their "rightness with them" because they refused to forgive and let go of what was done to them." So I could not forgive them, because the choose to hold unto the offense and not forgive."

He said, "Henry being right is not righteous." "My kingdom is first righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit." "Those that love me and know my mercy and forgiveness have no desire to be "right," but to be Holy as I am Holy and walk in the love and mercy I have given them to give to others.

Beloved's what is God's love based in, is it not to forgive us of our sins? Did he not die for the reasons we so wronged him? Did he do anything to us that we should hate him and not want him? But we did that to him did we not before we knew His salvation?

Has he not taught us in prayer we are "to forgive others of their trespasses" as He forgive us? Today, let us not focus on being right, but let us be focused on being righteous, but not our own righteousness, but to be filled with the righteousness of God and His kingdom. Remember, mercy triumphs over judgment.

When God told me about being right and going to hell, all I could do is let the injustice go, and choose to forgive the one who was persecuting and hurting me completely. The Lord helped me do this and in the end He restored my relationship with this person completely.

Love won! Mercy Triumphed! So beloved, if your right hand offend you cut it off and bring every hurt and offense into the light of God's love to heal you and let us be like David, when given the opportunity to rmove the one that hurt us, he releases him into God's hand. Selah

Children obey your parents in the Lord:

Beloved of the Lord,

I woke up today with this scripture going through me, Ephesians 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord [as His representatives], for this is just and right.Honor (esteem and value as precious) your father and your mother—this is the first commandment with a promise—That all may be well with you and that you may live long on the earth.

Beloved Omega Generation, This is not an option, but a commandment: Obey your parents why? Because it is just and right. HONOR, ESTEEM AND VALUE AS PRECIOUS your mother and father, for this is the first commandment WITH A PROMISE!

THAT ALL MAY BE WILL WITH YOU AND YOU MAY LIVE A LONG LIFE ON THE EARTH! 

Why would the Lord put such a weighty promise on a condition? A condition of obedience to your parents and honoring them? The answer: Because it is the order of God's Kingdom. Fathers have authority over their households. They are to love and serve their wives as Christ loves the church and together they are both to teach their children God's ways and the fear of the Lord that is the beginning of all wisdom. 

A parents role is to teach their child to be "dependent" upon the wisdom of someone wiser then them which is their parents. If they learn it with their natural parents they will then be able to learn how they must do the same thing with God . Why?  Isaiah 55:9 tells us,For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.

Jesus spoke of His Father the entire time He was on the Earth. He taught of His love for His Father, His desire of complete obedience to His father, and that He came only to do His Father's will. In exchange He told us the Father loved him and gave him all things. The Father gave him all power and authority of the kingdom to represent the Father fully on Earth as it is in Heaven. He said the Father and Him are one. One in heart, one in purpose, one in aim. So Jesus could preach, "Repent the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.

Jesus did nothing on his own, only what the Father told him to do or showed him to do. He had no delight to seek his own will or ideas. Why? Because he came to be the second Adam. Where Adam failed Jesus did not. Jesus carried his obedience to death and even the death of the cross, so God the Father gave Him a name above every other name. 

When the disciples asked Jesus how to pray, Jesus replied saying, "Our Father who art in heaven, hollowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on Earth as it is heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.... For thine is the kingdom, power and glory now and forever."

His life came under direct headship of His Father, For the Father is greater than the Son and the Son is subject willingly and lovingly in everything he does to His Father. 

In our earthly realm, why did God create the parents first? Adam was not born a baby, neither was Eve. Babies came out of their union together and as the two became one. From the minute Cain and Abel were born it was their parents responsibility to teach and train them in life. 

First and foremost their responsibility as parents was to train their children to know God and His ways and to live entirely under God's order and authority.  They were to teach their children how live to obey God in everything. God did not make them robots just to obey him, He gave them free will to choose to love and obey Him. Adam failed in the first attempt. Jesus succeeded as our second Adam.

When Adam and Eve fell we see what happened to the family after the fall? They became independent from God and now they could choose what is good and evil. What does Cain do?  Cain kills Abel and things are set in motion of what a life will look like outside the will of God. Cain had no desire to obey his parents naturally or God His father. 

God warned him sin was at the door and not sin, but he did what he wanted and disobeyed God direct orders. So it is today for those who are not truly in Christ Jesus as their Savior, Lord and King! The rest of what this fallen world came into existence as it is now because of our ability to choose our own will over God's will. 

Listen to how the old testament spoke of what you were to do with children that were rebellious and stubborn and disobedient to children. God meant it, it was a command. 

Deuteronomy 21:17-19

"If any man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey his father or his mother, and when they chastise him, he will not even listen to them, then his father and mother shall seize him, and bring him out to the elders of his city at the gateway of his hometown. 20"They shall say to the elders of his city, 'This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey us, he is a glutton and a drunkard.'Then all the men of his city shall stone him to death; so you shall remove the evil from your midst, and all Israel will hear of it and fear.

Imagine if we applied this standard today? But God is and was serious about Children obeying their parents. Yet today through our government and through society we expect others to raise our children, and our children are looking for excuses and those to blame for their sin, rebellion and stubbornness against their parents and authority.

Why does a 21 year old young man just beginning to live go into a church and kill 9 people because of the color of their skin? Where were the parents one would ask? They may have done all they could to teach this young man right from wrong, but the voices of evil get louder to those who don't know Christ everyday. So parents now must really seek God to know how to train and raise their child in the ways of God.

It takes great love and patience to be a parent and to be able to do this. It is very hard to see your children sometimes make decisions you know will truly harm them. Though you warn them of the impending danger, they just can't see it. So what does a parent do? Get on their knees and pray.

I remember when my son was little and he put his whole arm through a plate glass window. He literally cut in arm open in two. Blood was pouring out everywhere. I didn't know to do but get a towel wrap up his arm as tight as I could, and call 911.  

Not just 911 in the natural, but our heavenly Father. The ambulance came quickly and while I was with him in it, He looked at me and said, "Daddy am I going to die." I said, "Son that is not going to happen. God has called you with a purpose and a plan for you life you will surely not die."

I didn't know if he cut a major artery or what the diagnosis would be? But there in that ambulance was a Heavenly Father who loved Aaron much more than I did. He was only 6 years old.
 
I remember getting right into the room and they took the towel off, and all I saw was open flesh and bleeding and Donna almost passed out and freaked out naturally so. They took us both out of the room, they were going to let me stay with him through it, but because she was so hysterical we had to leave.

Honestly I was very upset I had to leave. I went outside and said, "Lord, I am supposed to be in there, he needs me to be with him." This is not fair God, please make a way for me to get in there.

Beloved's, God did not answer that prayer instead He spoke clearly to my spirit and said, "Henry, he is not just your son, he is mine and I made him and I am his Heavenly Father, why don't you trust me."

This is not a place to get in a debate with God. I had no right to question God's decision. I didn't know what the outcome would be, I had to simply trust God knows what He is doing.

Sometimes we never get the answers we need on Earth, and it may seem God is unfair, but His ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts.

I remember a time when my kids were going to a birthday party. They were all adults and they were bringing my grand-daughter there as well. While I am driving the Holy Spirit speaks to me, "tell them to get out of there, there is going to be a man with a gun there."

It was quite alarming so I called each of them and said, "where are you?" They told me where they were going. I told them not to go there, there was danger there. They said, "Dad that is just you." You don't know what you are talking about, these are normal people."

Again the Holy Spirit warned me and I said to them, "don't go or get out of there now cause some of them were already there." I told them if you don't meet in Dunkin Donuts in 20 minutes I am going to come there personally and drag you out of there." I said, "if I have to embarrass you to save you from danger, so be it."

As I started toward Dunkin Donuts, my middle daughter calls me hysterically on the phone, "Dad, there is a guy here with a gun and he is pointing at everyone." She was hiding and then began to speak in tongues. As soon as she did, the guy ran out of the house and left.

You wonder sometime why won't this generation of children listen to their parents. Well, everything from TV to what is in the world says, "listen to your self." You see, if you can't listen to your natural parents how will you ever listen to God who is your heavenly Father!

Back in the hospital waiting room, I had a choice listen to my Heavenly Father and trust him or do my own thing.

My dad was an alcoholic most of his adult life. He abused my mother greatly. But He instilled in us a hard working ethic and to make a better life for my kids then he was able to do for me. He told me what was right and wrong, though he struggled with things himself.

He told me about hanging around people who do drugs not to, and why not to drugs. He taught me about money management and taking care of your bills. He taught me about praying when you need help although we were still Catholic at the time and new how to pray very limitedly.

When my friends started using drugs, I removed myself from them. If they tried to bring with them while I drove I would never take them. I changed friends, because of my Father's words. "Henry, drugs will mess up your life. If you are around people who do them and police came you will be as guilty as they are just being with them." Don't ever do that!"

When those situations came, I could hear my Father's voice. I could hear my Father's counsel. Though he struggled much in his own life, the wisdom and love he tried to guide me in was there. Those words kept me in the most difficult times. I could of ended up like so many who have alcoholic parents. I could have made excuses for my failures, but I knew I was personally responsible for my own choices.

The devil didn't make me do it, if I failed it was my choice, not my parents fault, not because I was the youngest kid, or that I felt my Dad liked my sister better than me. I didn't have the "blame others" mentality that this generation of young people have.

I was personally responsible for my own actions. God gave me a Father who did love me the best he could and a mom as well. My mom and Dad together taught us how to behave, how to listen, how to respect their elders, how to honor our parents, how to behave in church and how to honor God no matter what.

Were they perfect parents, hardly! Are Donna and I perfect parents, no? But we do know the difference between right and wrong, and the holy from the profane. We stumble and fall because we are not fully change yet as God desires, but we are pressing on toward the mark of the high calling of God.

We are trusting God to lead us and guide us everyday and we want a Heavenly Father. We want His wisdom and guidance. I need a God who can speak to me to warn my children. I need a God that loves them more then me. I need a God who can be with me in that Hospital room to speak to me. When Aaron went into surgery they said, he may loose all use of his hands and arm because of the injuries of the glass in his arm.

But God spoke and said, "Henry he is not just your son, he is mine. The Doctors came out of surgery with Aaron,  and said, "It is a miracle, the glass missed every important artery, muscle and tissue, he will have full use of his arm and hand. He will have a major scar, but that is it!" Praise you ABBA GOD! Praise you Jesus Christ!

God is faithful. Sometimes the outcome is not what we hope and we can question God about those things, but in the end we must trust him as our Heavenly Father. Young children, teens and young adults, and even older adults, listen carefully to the words you are reading in this post!

I write this to all children no matter whether you are an adult, teen or child. The word of God says honor your mother and father, listen to their commands and obey them, they are given to you for a reason to protect you, guide you and help you.

None of us as children do it perfectly, and often times as parents we can see where you are heading in the wrong direction. We must do all we can to warn you of the danger ahead! Let those words sink into you, let them guide you so you can seek God and pray, God are my parents right? Children, Teens, and Young Adults listen to your parents, they are given to you as a gift from God.

Parents you must sound the alarm loudly as God's Ambassadors to your children. Don't compromise the truth because you are afraid to loose them. If you have to do that, they are already lost, so tell them the truth to save them!

Children, young and old, parents are not perfect but neither are you. Let the wisdom of your parents years and experience be a blessing to you. Please stop insisting on your own ways or rights, surrender them to God so you can truly hear what your parents have to impart to you.

Let God lead you, and allow God to use your parents to be the blessing they were intended to be. If you do, you will learn truly how to hear God, obey Him, and do His commands because you just love Him.

God has given us parents for a reason and they are a spiritual covering over our lives not just when we are young, but throughout all our lives. There roles change as we grow older, but their wise counsel is surely needed.

My mom is 88 years old and she still speaks into all our lives with wisdom of her age and walk with God. We have women in their late 50's- 70's in our ministry and as Elders, they are spiritual Mom's and Dad's we must learn from who can teach us the ways of God!

True discipleship begins here. If you can obey your parents in the Lord which is right in God's sight, you will learn how to pay true spiritual parents in the Lord as well, but even more you will learn to have and obedient heart and willing spirit to do all of God's will for your life. 

I have never seen the stubborn and rebellious ever do anything with their life for the Lord. In fact, they do the opposite they kill, steal and destroy under the power of the enemy all they touch and love.

Beloved Children of God, we have a choice whether to obey God, and obey his commands for our lives or not. Yet, God makes it clear through the Apostle Paul, "children, obey your parents in the Lord [as His representatives], for this is just and right.Honor (esteem and value as precious) your father and your mother—this is the first commandment with a promise—That all may be well with you and that you may live long on the earth.

I close with these scriptures from Proverbs on how God truly is trying to teach us of Kingdom life with one simple step. Honor your Mother and your Father, and obey your parents in the Lord. Selah!

Listen to your father, who gave you life, and do not despise your mother when she is old.

A Seed Donor or a Spiritual Father?

Beloved,  This blog could be helpful to those who are truly desiring to be a Godly Father and Husband.

Today of Father's Day, there are many who consider themselves fathers, because they got married and impregnated their wives and now have children of just had children out of wedlock living with their girlfriend or moved on to the next woman.

Yet in reality, many are clueless as what it means to truly be a Father and a Christian Father. Many have no intention of entering the covenant of marriage to truly lead their family. As my Father-in-law would always say, "why buy the cow when you get the milk for free." He said that not to encourage living together or to have pre-marital sex, but to share the wrong of living together and that sin without being married.

Many young men lack understanding or even desire to be married or live a life pleasing to God. These I am going to call seed donors. They lack character and morals to truly be what the Bible terms a Godly Husband and Spiritual Father. They may have never learned them themselves.

We live in a nation that has destroyed the true understanding of Fatherhood. We consider a good father as one that fathers a child out of wedlock, sends their child support each month and does a nice thing for their kids once in a while, their x, or whatever they call the woman they made the baby with.

In reality we have a generation of "sperm donors" calling themselves Father's because they are biologically one at best.  They live a self-centered, flesh pleasing life with little regard to their wife, woman or their children. The like the title daddy, but it is name only. A father is much more than a "sperm donor" in God's eyes.

With the plaque of dis-functional families upon our nation and even in the house of God, today, on Father's day let us show the 7 things that a Christian Father should have as character in their life to lead their families.

This teaching is a collection from others and myself that through the Word of God see what does God require us as Fathers and Husbands entrusted with the most sacred gifts of a wife and children. Let us see today if we measure up to what God's desires are, and if not, perhaps truly repent and turn to God!

The 7 measurements of being a Christian Father according to the Word of God:

1. Be a Godly Example

There are many attributes which can be ascribed to what a father should be. I'm sure we have our own ideas of what a father ought to be; however, the world's opinion of a father doesn't always line up with what God says a father ought to be.

The world feels that a father doesn't amount to much unless he's successful in the business world. People in the world believe that we should treat our family right, be active socially, be a member of a church, and be active in all the school activities; but God has a plan for fathers.

While some (perhaps all) of those attributes are wholesome concerning the role of a father, there's all a role that a successful father has in relationship to his Heavenly Father, and this relationship far outweighs any of those other qualities.

Let's study some of the attributes the Word of God points out as being those a godly father possesses, one upon whom God puts His seal of approval. Not every father is a father with whom God is pleased. There's a difference between what is accepted as a standard by the world and what God accepts.

According to the Greek translation, the word "father" means nourisher, protector, and upholder. If we would study the Jewish fathers in the Old Testament, we would find that they were reverenced, respected, and honored, but they had to earn this honor.

A Christian Father must provide and nourish his family and not suffer neglect or lack: 1 Timothy 5: “But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. 

Honor your Mother and Father: A Christian Father has to earn this honor. They had to love God first of all. Not every father is one with whom God is pleased. Why?---not all fathers love God. A father with whom God is pleased keeps God first in his live. There are Fathers who say they love God, but their lives say the opposite, and they have not PLEASED GOD!

Fathers must set the example for their families when it comes to loving God. We show our love to God through our obedience. Jesus said in John 14:15, "If ye love me, keep my commandments." We show our love to God by our communion with Him and by our faithfulness to Him. As a father, we cannot expect our household to be faithful to God if we ourselves are not faithful. They are watching us!

Jesus said in Matthew 22:37-38: "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment." Fathers, let's ask ourselves, is this our testimony? Is this the example that we are setting forth in our home? Can our family testify and say, "I know my father loves God because God is first in his life? As God looks upon us, is He number one in our life?

2. Exercise Love and Kindness

Not only does a Christian father love God, but he also loves his wife and children. Paul said in Ephesians 5:25-28: "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself."

Verse 33 says, "Nevertheless let everyone of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband." Husbands, not only should we have a love for God, but we should truly have a love for our wife.

If we truly love her, we won't treat her like a piece of dirt that we walk on daily. That's wrong and God is not pleased with it; furthermore, He won't bless us in it.

Let's not treat our wife as a slave. She's not a slave; she's a helpmeet, and there's a vast difference between the two.

How do we treat our wife? Let's also not treat her as though she has not part in the decisions of the household, and let's not put her down.

Some wonder why there's no love between the husband and the wife. If we would bestow love on her, if she's any kind of woman at all, she will give it right back. Do we truly love our wife? Paul said in Colossians 3:19, "Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them." 

3. A Father leads His family:

A true father not only loves his children, but he commands his household. Proverbs 6:20 says, "My son, keep thy father's commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother."

The Bible says in Genesis 18:18-19: "Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him. for I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord, to do justice and judgment; that the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken to him."

Joshua, speaking in Joshua 24:14-15, says: "Now therefore fear the Lord, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the Lord.

And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."

It's a father's duty to see that the commandments of God are carried out in his home by all members of the household. a true father commands with love and respect, but also with firmness to ensure his family knows God's ways.

4. Teaching Our Children Godly Principles: 

What else does a father do? He trains his children. Proverbs 22:6 says, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it."

A father should train his children to be faithful Christian soldiers, to obey the Word of God, and to reverence, esteem, and elevate the Word of God in their lives. 

Lets' train our children to walk in the light of the Word as it's revealed to them. Are you doing these things in leading your family?

Let's teach our children that they cannot cut corners and get by, and that no one can do wrong and get by. Someone may ask, "How do you do that?" The best way to do it is by letting them see godly principles set forth in our own life. Let's teach them to fear and reverence God. May God help us to have the good, old-fashioned fear of God.

Oh, how it's needed! Children will fear and reverence God when they see that thing in our life.

The reason a lot of children don't fear and reverence God as they should is because of what Mom and Dad do within the walls of their home.

We need to train and teach them in the way they should go. Yes, it is a big job! Again, let's impress upon our children that God should be number one in their lives.

Today some parents are impressing upon their children that other things need to be first in their hearts, if they are to become successful.

Let's not impress upon our children that sports are to be number one in their lives and that to be successful they need to be a good athlete. To be successful, God must be number one in their lives.

Also, let's impress upon our children that to be successful in life, God must be the apex of their lives in whatever vocation they choose. When He is not put first in their lives, the Spirit of God will drain out of their lives and they will become defeated and lost.

5. Taking Time to Provide Proper Training:

I'm sharing about a Christian father, a father whom God will honor; a father upon whom God bestows His love, a father whom God blesses. I know it's a big job to train children, but we must train them by taking time with them.

Let's not allow ourselves to become too busy. If we get too busy, we'll lose them to the world. It's not all mom's job to keep the family going; our children also need that godly counsel that only a father can provide. We have a responsibility to teach them and train them.

A father should teach his children how to pray. How?---by allowing our children to hear us do it. We shouldn't just tell them to pray; we should show them how. We also need to let them actually see us reading and studying the Word of God.

I wasn't raised in a Christian home, but there were some principles that my dad taught us. I was taught not to speak disrespectfully to Mom and Dad.

I was never allowed to sass my parents, and if we allow it, we will reap it. Let's not allow our children to show disrespect to the elders or to the house of God. I couldn't even talk in church back then. I was taught to honor God and even in the building where we met.

The house of God is consecrated and dedicated to the work of God, and our children should be taught to respect it.

Someone may ask, "How should they be taught?" We need to keep them with us; not allowing them to run all over the house of God!

I know it takes a little bit of our time and we may not always be able to do the things that we want to do; nevertheless, God called us to be a father, and that comes first.

There are people who we are trying to win to Christ, and when they see our children running this way and that way, and even almost run them down, they may think, "What kind of a place is this!"

Not ruling over you children sets a poor example of true Fatherhood. It demonstrates a lack of respect for God who is Holy. If a child has rule in the house and does whatever they want, we teach them chaos, rebellion and wickedness instead of righteousness and true holy living in God.

Let's teach our children to respect their pastors, whether we always agree with them or not.  I have been called the worse names by some. In those who did that their parents or parent never taught them true respect from God, or they learned the disrespect from the unsaved parent.

Why respect?---we might want them to pray for our children or try to reach them sometime, and if we've done nothing but gnaw on the pastors and show disrespect, they won't be able to reach the children; it will be impossible!

Not only should we teach them to respect the pastors, but let's teach them to respect all the saints of God!

6. Chastening-- To save their souls: 

A father not only needs to train his children, but he also needs to chasten and even rebuke when necessary. What do I mean?---stand up to them and tell them when they're wrong.

This is not easy when sin is an acceptable thing even in the church. To tell your son and daughter that their living together is evil in God's sight is not popular. Telling them you will not fellowship with them until they get out of the adulteress affair is not popular, but lying to them is worse by accepting their sin as acceptable in God's sight.

We read in Job 2:9-10: "Then said his wife unto him, dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die. But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips." So, if the need arises we need also to correct our wives.

There are times when we'll need to correct members of our families---not harshly--and with love if they will listen. That's a father's and husband's duty, and God will hold us responsible. God expects us to lovingly restrain sin, rebuke and chasten as necessary.

Sometimes we must get very firm and unmoving to try to make a wall put before them so they can see the error of their ways. A Father's firm word can do wonders to break a strong stubborn rebellious will.

In contrast to the example of Job who quickly corrected his companion, there's a brother mentioned in the Bible who didn't stand up to his children. In 1 Samuel, Chapter 3, we can read the story of a priest by the name of Eli. He would neither retrain his sons nor chastise them. So God intervened and did it for him.

1 Samuel 3:12-14: In that day I will carry out against Eli all that I have spoken concerning his house, from beginning to end.  

13"For I have told him that I am about to judge his house forever for the iniquity which he knew, because his sons brought a curse on themselves and he did not rebuke them.  

14: Therefore I have sworn to the house of Eli that the iniquity of Eli's house shall not be atoned for by sacrifice or offering forever."

We must correct and discipline our children no matter how old they are and teach them the difference between the Holy and the profane. This is our roles as Kings and Priest of our homes and our Spiritual Father's responsibility before God. God will judge our homes as He did with Eli, if we refuse to lead our families in the ways of God and not correct the errors of their ways.

There are enough people who could testify as to what their homes were like when they didn't correct their children. If our son or daughter warrants a spanking, let's not just threaten them---we must do it! The Bible instructs us to, "Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not they soul spare for his crying" (Proverbs 19:18).  We should never physically abuse them, but sometime the old time correction of spanking is needed.

7. Be like your Heavenly Father: 

A godly father should be like his Heavenly Father. Notice that all the attributes of a Christian father are attributes of our Heavenly Father. To be a true father, we should be like our Heavenly Father--holy and righteous. The only way we can manifest these attributes are if we dwell in Him.

There are some homes upon which God cannot place His smile of approval. They are existing as man and wife, and they have children, but God's blessings don't rest upon that home. 

Why? The are out of harmony with God first of all, and when that happens, they are out of harmony with each other. 

It's a shame that many can't even get along with their companions, yet they still profess to be a child of God; something is wrong.
A Christian marriage isn't built on looks, it must go deeper than that.

When a young man decides to take a wife, he should check her spirit. Why? We can't build a marriage on good looks. No, that's why movie stars get divorced and remarried several times. Young Christian woman should not take a husband just because he says the right words, or he is super handsome, She should check his spirit to see if his life aligns with his profession of faith!

Conclusion: is God pleased with you as a Christian Father? 

How is our love to God? our wife? our children? If we are truly a father who wants to live right and act right, God is number one in our life?

Do we command our household and give instruction? Are we training our children in the way they should go?

If we have a godly father's heart, we'll be grieved when one of our children goes astray. Do we stand up for what is right, even if it is against our wife, our children, or whoever is wrong? Do we rebuke, correct, and chasten when it's necessary? 

Do we nourish and care for our family and provide for our household? Do we make sure they have a roof over their head, our bills paid and have the security of a safe and loving household?

As God looks upon us (never mind what people thing about us, it's what God thinks about us that truly counts), and in the light of the Word of God, how do we line up with the Word of God? Do we truly love God? 

 If we do, our wife and children will know it, our neighbors will know it, and our place of employment will know it. God cannot be number one in our life without others being affected.

Much responsibility rests upon our shoulders, and to really fulfill the position that God has called us to fill, we need the Spirit of God reigning in our heart and life every day.

Is Christ reigning in our heart? If not, He can be and He must be. Let's not try to be a father without the Spirit of God. It's a task in itself with the Spirit of God, let alone without Him. Christ can be reigning in our heart today if we'll yield to Him and then we will be the Fathers and Husbands, God has called us to be.

What does it mean that God is omnipotent?

"What does it mean that God is omnipotent?"

Beloved's of the Lord,

The Kingdom of God is the outworking of God's omnipotence (full power)  working in our lives conforming is into the image of Christ. It was the experience of God's omnipotent power in His life the Apostle Paul could say,

"I have been crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, but not I, but Christ lives in me, and the life I know live I live by faith in the Son of God who loves me and gave himself for me. That is the true revelation of the power of the Kingdom of God that dwells in us.

So many of God's people are living way below the truth of God's word of the Kingdom. Who will bring the real demonstration and restoration of the Kingdom of God life to those who in need if not you?

Who will say to the people God's love, are you trusting that the omnipotent God who saved you by his all powerfulness, is now still at work in you to finish the work He has started in you? Who will tell them, He didn't need our help or effort to start the work in our lives, He doesn't need our work or help to continue it or even finish it. He is the Omnipotent God we must put our 100% faith in to do it!

Phil: 1:6 says: For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.

Phil 2:13 or it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.

The omnipotent God created the universes with the word from his mouth and his omnipotence is still in full power by keeping the existence of what He made working as he wills it to be.

Let us believe today even in our weakness and failures, God is still is on the throne working in us his omnipotent power of His kingdom where we can't see. If we but trust him we will soon see his Kingdom and power manifested fully in our lives fully.

We trusted his omnipotence to save us, let us trust it now to keep us and to finish us. To help us understand what omnipotence is let us look at bible definition and the scriptures that help us declare and receive that omnipotent power in our lives.

What does it mean that God is omnipotent?

The word omnipotent comes from omni- meaning “all” and potent meaning “power.” As with the attributes of omniscience and omnipresence, it follows that, if God is infinite, and if He is sovereign, which we know He is, then He must also be omnipotent. He has all power over all things at all times and in all ways.

Job spoke of God’s power in Job 42:2: “I know that you can do all things and that no plan of yours can be thwarted.” Job was acknowledging God’s omnipotence in carrying out His plans. Moses, too, was reminded by God that He had all power to complete His purposes regarding the Israelites: “The LORD answered Moses, ‘Is the LORD'S arm too short? You will now see whether or not what I say will come true for you.’”

Nowhere is God’s omnipotence seen more clearly than in creation. God said, “Let there be…” and it was so (Genesis 1:3, 6, 9, etc.). Man needs tools and materials to create; God simply spoke, and by the power of His word, everything was created from nothing. “By the word of the LORD were the heavens made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth” (Psalm 33:6).

God’s power is also seen in the preservation of His creation. All life on earth would perish were it not for God’s continual provision of everything we need for food, clothing and shelter, all from renewable resources sustained by His power as the preserver of man and beast (Psalm 36:6). The seas which cover most of the earth, and over which we are powerless, would overwhelm us if God did not proscribe their limits (Job 38:8-11).

God’s omnipotence extends to governments and leaders (Daniel 2:21), as He restrains them or lets them go their way according to His plans and purposes. His power is unlimited in regard to Satan and his demons. Satan’s attack on Job was limited to only certain actions. He was restrained by God’s unlimited power (Job 1:12; 2:6). Jesus reminded Pilate that he had no power over Him unless it had been granted to him by the God of all power (John 19:11).

Being omnipotent, God can do anything. However, that doesn’t mean God has lost His omnipotence when the Bible says that He cannot do certain things. For example, Hebrews 6:18 says that He cannot lie. That does not mean He lacks the power to lie, but that God chooses not to lie in accord with His own moral perfection.

In the same way, despite His being all-powerful and hating evil, He allows evil to happen, according to His good purpose. He uses certain evil events to allow His purposes to unfold, such as when the greatest evil of all occurred—the killing of the perfect, holy, innocent Lamb of God for the redemption of mankind.

As God incarnate, Jesus Christ is omnipotent. His power is seen in the miracles He performed—His numerous healings, the feeding of the five thousand (Mark 6:30-44), calming the storm (Mark 4:37-41), and the ultimate display of power, raising Lazarus and Jairus’s daughter from the dead (John 11:38-44; Mark 5:35-43), an example of His control over life and death.

Death is the ultimate reason that Jesus came—to destroy it (1 Corinthians 15:22; Hebrews 2:14) and to bring sinners into a right relationship with God. The Lord Jesus stated clearly that He had power to lay down His life and power to take it up again, a fact that He allegorized when speaking about the temple (John 2:19). He had power to call upon twelve legions of angels to rescue Him during His trial, if needed (Matthew 26:53), yet He offered Himself in humility in place of others (Philippians 2:1-11).

The great mystery is that this power can be shared by believers who are united to God in Jesus Christ. Paul says, "Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me" (2 Corinthians 12:9b).

God’s power is exalted in us most when our weaknesses are greatest because He “is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us” (Ephesians 3:20). It is God’s power that continues to hold us in a state of grace despite our sin (2 Timothy 1:12), and by His power we are kept from falling (Jude 24). His power will be proclaimed by all the host of heaven for all eternity (Revelation 19:1). May that be our endless prayer

God is omnipotent and He has given us the Holy Spirit who works that omnipotence in our life so we "no longer live, not I, but Christ now lives in me, and the life I now live, I live in faith in the Son of God who loves me and gave Himself for me.  God's grace and power are the most strongly seen in my emptiness and helplessness so God can be the All in All and get all the Glory. So when I am weak, then He is strong. His grace is sufficient for us all!

Times of Fellowship with the Lord


Beloved, this is a powerful word of the Lord for us to meditate on. It is a word that is a weapon on how God will cause us to stand. It is written by Nancy Taylor Warner daughter of Wade Taylor my Spiritual Father in the Lord, I pray it blesses and strengthens you today as it is in me.

As I was in prayer today, I remembered a situation we faced a number of years ago. My husband, David, was in Mozambique on a short-term mission trip. I was happy for him to be there, as I knew it was his heart’s desire.

I was busy as the pastor of a church where I knew God had called us, and was caught up in my times of fellowship with the Lord as I spent time waiting in His presence, in prayer, God’s Word, and the things I was doing. One particular day however, such intercession came on me for David that I could hardly bear it. I remember telling our church of the intensity of it, as we met that Sunday and prayed together.

That intercession lasted for a couple of days, then it lifted. I remember wondering what it had been all about, as I continued on where God had me. It was a few days later that I received a phone call. David told me he had been riding in a truck when a gunman came up the road. Standing about five feet away, the gunman aimed an AK47 at the center of his chest, then shot. The blast threw him back, so the gunman thought he hit him, and left. However, the bullet missed! As I spoke to David on the phone, he was still in shock. I remember saying over and over to him, “But intercession came, and we were praying for you.”

The Lord is calling us into a place of fellowship with Him. From that place of fellowship, He will give us the right prayer at the right time, the right declaration, the right word ─ whatever it is He has need of, as we make ourselves available for His higher purposes.

In Genesis 18, Abraham was simply sitting in the door of his tent, when the Lord came. Abraham’s immediate response was to minister to the Lord. From that place of fellowship, the Lord said, “Should I not share with my friend Abraham that which I am about to do?” Abraham was brought into a place of intercession for the righteous to be saved and brought out of Sodom and Gomorrah before judgment fell.

As Christians, we are in covenant relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Covenant is a very powerful thing. David, when faced by enemies, prayed on the basis of covenant. An understanding of covenant brings tremendous peace and reassurance that we have a God who loves us, and who will move on our behalf when we cry out to Him, be it for our own lives, or the life of another.

Today, as I was walking in the Prayer Chapel and praying, intercession came as I cried out, “Oh Lord, the blood of your people. Lord, the blood of your people.” Though I care deeply of my own self, in that moment my cry went beyond my own concern, to an expression of the very heart of God and the fellowship of His sufferings. (Phil. 3:10)
As I prayed, this scripture came to mind:

“The LORD said, “What have you done? Listen! Your brother’s blood cries out to me from the ground.” Genesis 4:10 NIVThere are those who have died because of their faith, but their blood still speaks.

“By faith Abel offered God a better sacrifice than Cain did. By faith he was commended as a righteous man, when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith he still speaks, even though he is dead.” Hebrews 11:4 NIV

We are to practice the presence of the Lord, every moment of every day. But as we also set apart time to fellowship with the Lord, He will share His heart with us and cause us to be a part of that which He is doing today, just as He did with Abraham in his day.

Isaiah 60 speaks of gross darkness on the face of the earth. We are seeing that! Yet we are also told that His glory will arise and be seen in the midst of this darkness.

“For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.” Isaiah 60:2 KJV

Can our prayers make a difference? Yes! We can enter into fellowship with the Lord and allow His heart to find expression through us. There is a “presencing” of the Lord that we can contend for. There is also a “word with consequences” that God is releasing, that can and will have an impact.
I remember another experience I had years ago.

I was watching one of God’s chosen saints suffer at the mouth of another. As I watched and listened, I went into a dialogue with the Lord. As I did, I remembered another man of God who also suffered greatly. Within myself I said to the Lord, “You don’t treat those who love You very well.” As I did, suddenly, so fierce it startled me, I heard come through my mouth, “That’s enough!” Instantly, the verbal beating this precious man of God was taking, stopped. Through that experience, I came into a new realization of the power and authority of a quickened word that comes from God, as well as His fierce love over them that love Him.

The word of God is powerful! It is at His word the world was formed. Let’s believe for the Lord to draw us, as never before, into times of fellowship with Him, that we might come to know His heart and speak His quickened word, as His Spirit within us moves and finds expression through our very lives.

The need is urgent. The Lord is looking today for those who would make themselves available to fellowship with Him. Will we respond by saying, “Lord, I am available,” and then make the necessary choices to set aside time to be with Him?

We all have responsibilities we must fulfill, in a right way that gives glory to God. But there is other time available in our days that we can redeem, so we can spend in prayer, worship, waiting on the Lord, meditating on His Word…watching, waiting and listening for His guidance, that we might be available for His higher purposes. As we set our gazeon the Lord, and in yieldedness spend time with Him, we can become more sensitive and responsive to His Spirit, becoming channels through whom God can move today.

As we make ourselves available to the Lord today, we too, can make a difference.

Staying in a Christian marriage for the wrong reason: Part 1

STAYING IN A MARRIAGE FOR THE WRONG REASON:

Beloved’s this is not an easy topic to discuss because many hold so different views to marriage and divorce even from the Word of God. Many will hold different opinions on this I am sure. I am going to put forth in this first post: What I am seeing as the enemies tactics to destroy marriages but worse to birth ungodly marriages that will yoke the true believer with the wrong spouse even if they say they love and want to serve God, but they NEVER WILL!

Let me preface this by saying I have worked over 27 years to bring healing and restoration of marriages whenever possible. I have counseled people who have committed adultery on their partner, and marriages where the spouse had mental, emotional, and even addictions in their life. God's will is to heal and restore those marriages birthed in his will who are willing to change, repent, and walk in the love of God for one another.

Yet, there is a very sinister plot of the enemy being hatched to not only destroy marriages but to make ungodly ones that will eventually destroy the spouse that loves God and make children who will be like Eli's sons and do wickedly in the house of God.

I'm writing this because of what I am seeing in the house of God and even in my own family members the attack of the enemy not just to destroy marriages but the very life and calling of the spouse and children in their relationship with God.

A “false religious” mindset rooted in a wrong understanding of the heart of God would leave men and women in marriage that were never chosen by God, or marriages that were birthed in deception of one spouse marrying someone just to fill their own lust and needs. 

Beloved, we are witnessing one of the greatest onslaught against Christian young single men and women we have ever seen. We have a generation of Christian youth and young adults that feel that it is OK to “live together” everyone else is doing it. This is the 21st Century.

We have teenagers believing that anything but fornication is OK to do with a young girl they are seeing before marriage. They can touch them and do whatever they want to them as long as they don’t go “all the way.”

We have Christian parents excepting this as normal and right and are afraid to confront their children with the truth of God’s word. Plus, I have seen the enemy put Christian young men “players” in the teens language to tell the young Christian girl everything they want to hear like in the world just to get in bed with them.

I heard with my own ears how one young women was coerced by this young man that premarital sex was God’s plan and he would read scriptures to her telling her that is God’s will while having sex with her. Another young woman who seduced her young man to have some type of premarital sex convinced him it was a type of therapy for her. I joke not.

Many of these same ones end up after the damage is done to them marrying prematurely, or the wrong person that God never intended for them. Some have been so hurt they end up marrying even another Christian out of the rebound that God never chose. So now we have marriages that are a mess and disaster and were never God’s will.

The righteous spouse often end up with much hurt, heartache and depression,  and if there are children involved the children now face each day a choice between the pleasures of the world of sin lived by one of the parents and the other parent trying to serve God and not compromise.  

97% of the time the children choose the ways of the unbelieving or carnal christian parent who is having a love affair with the world. They end up despising the righteous parent and loving the compromising one.In one family where the mom was the saved one and the father unsaved most of the children called their mom the "B" word a lot of the times and sided with the Father's way of life and not the Godly mother.

The result and fruit in these children is that they often become alcoholics, adulterers, drug addicts and worse and the kids get damaged for life. That last statement is the real work of the devil. He tries to put people in ungodly marriages knowing that a “religious spirit” will tell them, you can’t get out of this marriage, you need to stay in it to sanctify the mate, yet the whole entire marriage it never happens and the children never serve the Lord. Is that what God rally wants?

In my prayer time to help minister to some family members who really need wise counsel on what is happened and happening in their marriages God led me to some wonderful men and women of God that had a Godly perspective of these things with the scriptural support to show why God is intervening in ungodly marriages now.

If you have a different take on things so be it, but the assault is not just to destroy marriages it is now to build ungodly ones that will breed off-springs of rebellion and compromise against God and his will.

 Children who are lukewarm and will tolerate Jezebel and bring even more worldliness and compromise into the house of God and their families. They will be tolerating Jezebel and be th be cast on a bed of affliction or spewed out of the mouth of God.  

Beloved's Satan's purpose is to destroy a Godly nation by producing UNGODLY OFFSPRING in the house of God and in this nation!

Below are some excerpts from:

Staying in a Marriage for the Wrong Reasons:

“For how do you know, O wife, whether YOU will save your husband? Or how do you know, O husband, whether YOU will save your wife?” (1Corinthians 7:16).

The implication is that we can actually continue to stay married for the wrong reasons. The emphasis here is whether YOU will save your spouse. For when we think we can do God’s job to pressure someone to become a Christian or believe the way we believe, we are in grave danger.

For NO ONE can come to Jesus “unless the FATHER ...draws Him...” (John 6:44). For we can actually be trying to lead someone to the Lord and be out of God’s will because it may not be OUR place or the right time.

(However, we are always to be an example of who God is, and what He stands for; not to be slaves, imprisoned by the threats and or beatings of ungodly men.)

The word “save” also means to deliver, heal, restore to proper order, or to make whole. The idea to save is often found in new marriages where one of the partners “thinks” that they can change the other or cause them to be free of some sort of problem such as drugs, rage, alcohol, or crime.

But after much pain they find out it doesn’t normally work that way. It takes God to change a person’s heart and to free them from such things.  ( I have seen this in my own family and it has ended up a disaster for the spouce and the children)

The Wuest translation put it this way: For “ONLY as the Lord has assigned to each one his lot [in life], as God has called each one, IN THAT WAY let him be ordering his manner of life...” (1Corinthians 7:17).

Many have taken this Scripture to mean that the spouse that wants to walk with God is supposed to submit to the ungodliness of the other spouse. This is foolishness!

The real questions for this Scripture are, “what has the LORD assigned to each of us as our lot in life? As we walk in that assignment, how shall we order our manner of living?”The answer to both of these questions must culminate into this one thing. “Be holy, for I am holy” (1Peter 1:16).

Some have even said that if a wife for instance, is in a bad marriage, whether they’re being abused or however their husband is treating them, that that is their lot from God.

This is nothing but foolishness and stupidity in its purest sense.

They don’t know it’s the “...GOODNESS OF GOD [that] leads you to repentance” (Romans 2:4). An abusive type of environment in the home is just not good.

A healthy home environment is brought about by seeking “...those things which are above, where Christ is...” (Colossians 3:1).

How can a person live a godly life and at the same time submit that life to someone who practices ungodliness?

“For either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other...” (Matthew 6:24). 

You cannot love the Lord your God with all your heart while lowering and yielding yourself and your children to accept, partake and participate in things that the Lord Himself detests.

Did you read that Beloved? YOU CAN NOT LOVE GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART WHILE LOWERING AND YIELDING YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN TO ACCEPT, PARTAKE, AND PARTICIPATE IN THINGS THAT GOD HATES AND DETEST!

What has the Lord assigned as our lot in life? Surely it can’t be a life you hate so much you want to die to escape the pain. No! The Scriptures are so powerfully clear. Let’s take a look:

For “...we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: ‘I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Therefore COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM AND BE SEPARATE, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you! I will be a father to you and you shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.

THEREFORE, HAVING THESE PROMISES, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God” (2Corinthians 6:16b-17:1).

If that’s not powerful enough, the Scripture also says to, “Let love be without hypocrisy. ABHOR WHAT IS EVIL. CLING TO WHAT IS GOOD” (Romans 12:9).

HOW COULD YOU NOT HATE EVIL, AND TRULY LOVE, AT THE SAME TIME! 

That is HYPOCRITICAL LOVE!  HYPOCRITICAL LOVE DOES NOT HATE EVIL.  AGAIN.........HYPOCRITICAL LOVE DOES NOT HATE EVIL! 

HYPOCRITICAL LOVE ALLOWS EVIL TO LIVE BESIDE IT IN ITS OWN HOME!!!

LOVE MUST HATE EVIL TO BE TRUE IN ITSELF. "Let our love be WITHOUT hypocrisy."

Otherwise, it’s not love at all, but bondage. And for one to “cling” to that which is good, one must at the same time separate from that which is evil.

As we move closer to that which is good, there is always a moving away from that which is evil. TRUE LOVE ALWAYS HATES EVIL!

It says in Proverbs 3:6, “IN ALL your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.”

How can we, in all our ways acknowledge God and receive direction, if we are united to a spouse who does not want to follow God’s ways and doesn’t want us to either? The marriage will produce constant strife. God wants us to live in peace.

A Nation: A Reflection of Marriages:

Why does God command us not to marry outside of His family, and specifically, for us to ask Him to choose our mate for us?

What is behind satan’s strategy in hurrying us to marry without first seeking God and waiting for the mate that He is so delightfully preparing for us?

God is the one who created the Earth and the fullness thereof. The whole world and all of creation was given to the first man, Adam to rule over. Adam gave it over to satan and now both righteousness and evil cohabitate in the same world (See Luke 4:6, Proverbs 18:21).

Because of this there must be a separation between the two natures. Therefore, we must choose between the nature of “Life,” and the nature of “Death” (See Deuteronomy 30:19).

Satan’s strategy for the husband or wife is to have an unrighteous spouse, thereby mixing the godly with the ungodly and producing unrighteous children.

Because the children are our future leaders, they will lead the people away from God and from doing right. “For righteous exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people” (Proverbs 14:34).

THESE OFFSPRING WILL LEAD PEOPLE AWAY FROM GOD AND DOING WHAT IS RIGHT!

Moreover, when a fair portion of that generation of children lives out their corruption and unrighteous, the future of the nation is in jeopardy.

THIS IS WHAT WE ARE SEEING NOW IN OUR NATION. YOUNG PEOPLE CALLOUS TO GOD, THEIR PARENTS, BECAUSE THEY ARE BEING DRAWN AWAY FROM GOD TO THE PLEASURES OF THIS WORLD. 

SATAN DESIRES TO HAVE MARRIAGES THAT PRODUCE THE POWER TO DESTROY FAMILIES AND A NATION BY THE MERGING OF THE GODLY WITH THE UNGODLY! 

THIS IS WHAT HIS SCHEME WAS TO USE DECEPTION TO GET ISRAEL CURSED BY GOD BY MARRYING THE UNGODLY!

NUMBER 25: While Israel was staying at Shittim, the men began to have sex with Moabite women who invited the people to the sacrifices offered to their gods.  

The people ate the meat from the sacrifices and worshiped these gods. Since the Israelites joined in worshiping the god Baal of Peor, the Lord became angry with Israel.

GOD THEM COMMANDED MOSES TO DO THE FOLLOWING:

The Lord said to Moses, “Take all the leaders of the people, and execute them in broad daylight in the Lord’s presence. This will turn the Lord’s anger away from Israel.”

So Moses said to the judges of Israel, “Each of you must kill the men who have joined in worshiping the god Baal of Peor.”

One of the Israelite men brought a Midianite woman to his brothers. He did this right in front of Moses and the whole community of Israel while they were crying at the entrance to the tent of meeting.  

Phinehas, son of Eleazar and grandson of the priest Aaron, saw this. So he left the assembly, took a spear in his hand, and went into the tent after the Israelite man. He drove the spear through the man and into the woman’s body. Because of this, the plague that the Israelites were experiencing stopped. However, 24,000 people died from that plague.

Look at what God had to do to get the sin out of the camp and save his people? Does he want to kill everyone? No, but the sin of mixture in the marriage had to be removed. 

HOW WILL GOD INTERVENE TO SAVE US AND DELIVER THOSE WHO ARE IN WRONG RELATIONSHIPS AND WRONG MARRIAGES: 

Beloved's, What would God do to help save a Christian man or woman or their children from being with the ones that will live a life of unrighteousness and doing evil in God’s sight?

It is in these cases in a Christian marriage where the spouse will not serve God and is leading his family away fro God or one that is one spouse save and the other not saved, he will use separation and divorce as a method to save the spouse and the children.

When the desire to marry comes from our own selfish heart, for our own selfish purpose, and for our own selfish gratification, you can be assured that disaster is looming in the air. 

I have seen this with my own eyes in my own family, and their marriages were a disaster or continue to be a disaster made by their own hands and own choices!

“Did not Solomon, King of Israel, sin by these things? Yet among many nations there was no king like him, who was beloved of his God; and God made him King over all Israel. Nevertheless, pagan women caused even him to sin” (Nehemiah 13:26). This caused Solomon’s whole nation to crumble, because families make up a nation.

Therefore, when separating or divorce comes from God’s heart through man, it’s to save people.  (DID YOU READ THAT! IT IS TO SAVE PEOPLE!)

That is whether the marriage went bad, or was bad from the beginning. God is doing the separating to have a righteous people, for “righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.”

Verbal Abuse: The power of witchcraft and control:

Beloved I have family members right now that have been destroyed by this attack of the enemy and are totally deceived in believing they are OK! I have seen it in other families as well.

I am not going to discuss physical or sexual abuse because there are many good books written on the subject already. I’d rather expose the other two types of abuse that are rarely ever mentioned. Here is the fruit of verbal abuse:

1. A person can be so verbally abused that they don’t know what’s true anymore.

2. This abuse is designed to put a person in a numb state so they are unable to make clear, concise decisions.

3. The path of verbal abuse leads a person from what they know as truth into a confused state.

4. This confused state arises because the abuser consistently interjects lies as truth until the abused no longer knows what to believe.

5. For example, we can see this happen when the abuser uses truths from the Bible to justify a lie, or the abuser twists the Bible’s true intent to satisfy his own selfish motive. (God would not want you to divorce me, he would want you to pray for me, while I leave you homeless, steal in grocery stores, take your car with no license, pawn your birthday gifts, steal your money and use it for my habit, but you must forgive me like Jesus does?)

There is truth in those words somewhat about forgiveness and praying for them, but staying with them is A LIE FROM THE PIT OF HELL!

6. The sad part comes when the abused embraces the lies from the abuser as truth, thereby disregarding the real truth.  (AGAIN I HAVE SEEN THIS WITH MY OWN EYES)

7. At this point the abused feels like they are in chains of bondage with no way out. So they often stay in the abusive situation because they deserve it.

 8. A trusted godly person is like a life preserver to the abused at this point. For “the mouth of the righteous is a well of life” (Proverbs 10:11a).

9. There are three very important factors in verbal abuse. They are deception, confusion and reality or truth.

10. We go through these steps during our lives until our belief system is built on a firm foundation of truth. The verbally abused spend most of their lives without a foundation of truth in their hearts and minds, but are in continual deception and confusion.

11. Confusion is a path — a means to reality (truth). Confusion is good ONLY when leaving deception and entering into reality (truth). When the Scripture says, “...God is not the author of confusion...” (1Corinthians 14:33), it is saying that GOD DOES NOT GIVE BOTH TRUTH AND A LIE TO DECIDE FROM. HE IS TRUTH!


It is through deception and abuse many young woman and men are seduced into relationships that are not from God. They never were from God no matter how Godly they looked and God things they said. FRUIT DOES NOT LIE. KNOW A TREE BY IT’S FRUIT!

Young man or women who loves God, you are not trapped by your mistakes or wrong choices. Repent and admit to God you were looking for love in all the wrong places. Tell the Lord you will turn around and be open for him to show you why this relationship is ungodly and must be broken now, before the children or future children you may have is destroyed, or that you marry the wrong person God never picked for you and live a disaster for a life. That is not God’s will for you. 

God hates divorce, but he hates unrighteousness even more. If that spouse is going to lead you away from God, His ways, his call upon your life and children, then God would release you from someone intended to destroy you and your kids. The choice is whether you want to be destroyed or have your children destroyed staying loyal to evil and not to God.

THE LOST SHEEP OF THE HOUSE OF GOD!: PREACH THE KINGDOM IS AT HAND!

Beloved's of the Lord

I was two months old as a Christian and sat in my sister's church in Virginia when I went to hear a minister from India speak to the church.

When He was speaking for the second time in my life the Lord spoke to me so clearly in my heart. He said, Read Matthew 10. So I did. When I began to read the chapter from the 5th verse to the 15th verse, I literally burned with the presence of God.

It was like the Lord spoke these words with an audible voice to the depth of my being. When he was done speaking, He told me to underline these verses and to write next to it Building Block 1. So I did. Then I heard him say, "Henry, this is what I have called you to do."

As you read this, may the Holy Spirit reveal what I am about to write about this early morning.

5 Jesus sent out these twelve, charging them, Go nowhere among the Gentiles and do not go into any town of the Samaritans;

6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

7 And as you go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand!

8 Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, drive out demons. Freely (without pay) you have received, freely (without charge) give.

9 Take no gold nor silver nor [even] copper money in your purses (belts);

10 And do not take a provision bag or a [a]wallet for a collection bag for your journey, nor two undergarments, nor sandals, nor a staff; for the workman deserves his support (his living, his food).

11 And into whatever town or village you go, inquire who in it is deserving, and stay there [at his house] until you leave [that vicinity].

12 As you go into the house, give your greetings and wish it well.

13 Then if indeed that house is deserving, let come upon it your peace [that is, [b]freedom from all the distresses that are experienced as the result of sin]. But if it is not deserving, let your peace return to you.

14 And whoever will not receive and accept and welcome you nor listen to your message, as you leave that house or town, shake the dust [of it] from your feet.

15 Truly I tell you, it shall be more tolerable on the day of judgment for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah than for that town.


Beloved, I don't know why God spoke this to me then, but I do understand it much more clear now. I am writing this because there is a something wrong in most Christians thinking about the work of God.

Most believe that is worthy to support workers, and churches that are reaching out to their communities and bringing in the harvest of the Lord into the house and they would be correct in that thinking. Many give so much to works like that because they see the efforts of the lost being saved, and again rightly so.

But beloved in many of those same churches there are lost sheep. Sheep who do not know God's voice. Sheep who don't have a clue to God's will for their lives. Sheep who have intellectually been saved. Sheep who are saved into their church and not Christ and have no evidence of a new creation life. Sheep that don't know how to be led by the Spirit of God or filled with the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.

In those same churches many saints are living in gross sin, in bondage to all types of habits from lust to pornography, pot smoking, drinking, living together, anger, bitterness and unforgiveness in their hearts. Many of those same saints are lukewarm with their walk with God, or even have grown cold. Yet these saints, touch the holy things of God Sunday after Sunday. They have leadership positions in the church and even, lead worship, teach the youth, head up the Sunday Schoo, or do home group meetings with no conviction of the true state of their spiritual life.

Many of these become wonderful church members, but are not even qualified to be a disciple because they have never denied themselves, pick up their cross and follow Jesus. Some never hear it preached. Most of these minister operate only when the Holy Spirit comes upon them to serve with his power gifts, but the anointing does not come from within them as their life, but only upon them for service.

Many are so immature spiritually in the church and never grow past what God can do for them.  They go to church go for the "bless me "feeling of what God is going to do for them as spiritual babes, but they never become Spiritual Fathers or Mothers. They may become teachers, for there are many of them, but most of these Christians still mere infants in Christ and can't digest the solid food of the mature.

Beloved, so many church members never hear the Gospel of the Kingdom message. They have no idea of what it means that Christ in you, the hope of Glory. They never live a full life free from sin that our new life was supposed to bring. Most Christians don't  hear about the holiness of God and how Christ Jesus wants to live His life in them and through them completely as God's holy people reflecting His kingdom of Earth.

Instead many Christians have become content to get their good doses of church ministry, doctrines, outreaches and all sorts of activities which makes them feel good when they go home, but no real tangible evidence of a Christian life under the direction of the Holy Spirit is rarely seen.

Andrew Murray writes:

Your house, Christian, your spiritual life, the dwelling, the temple of God in your heart,--in what state is that? Is it not often like the temple of old, in Jerusalem, that had been defiled and made a house of merchandise, and afterwards a den of thieves?

Your heart, meant to be the home of Jesus,is it not often full of sin and darkness, full of sadness, full of vexation? You have done your very best to get it changed, and you have called in the help of man, and the help of means; you have used every method you could think of for getting it put right; but it will not come right until He whose it is, comes in to take charge.

Is this not the real condition of the majority of the saints in this nation? Aren't many doing the religious life of going to church, doing activities, but their hearts are still sold on doing whatever pleases them. Most of the church today is either lukewarm, cold or holds a form of godliness denying the power there of.

So what does God want to do, He chooses 12 disciples and says to them don't go to the gentiles (the lost) but to the lost sheep of the House of Israel and see the condition of my people.They are lost and not true disciples of Jesus Christ. So go them Jesus says to the 12, and when you go say something.

When you open your mouth and you go to them. Preach the KINGDOM OF GOD IS AT HAND! Not the beginning of the Gospel of being saved from your sins, but the fullness of the Gospel message you have been FREED from the POWER OF SIN OVER YOUR LIFE. (ROMANS 8:1-3)

When you bring this message those in the church will be a mess and sick, so heal the sick physically and spiritually, cast out the devils and their power over my people. cleanse the spiritual lepers that have a spiritual disease that keeps them away from God and his people.

Raise the spiritual dead, they have a reputation of being alive. They have made a name for themselves, but they are dead, and have little life left in them.

Go to them in the power of my Spirit with the Kingdom of God message and set them free. For this purpose was the Son of God made manifest that he would destroy the works of the devil. Judgment begins in the house of the Lord.

Jesus said, "my house, (you are the temple of the Holy Spirit) shall be a house of prayer, but YOU have made it a den of thieves What thieves?"  Every other desire, every idol, every thought, every plan apart from the Holy Spirits birthing are thieves robbing us of our full life in Christ, and Christ in us!

Go to them, preach the kingdom message, bring my healing power to them and set them free to be true disciples of me. Since the great commission was not to save everyone, but preach the Gospel MAKING DISCIPLES.

Pastors, Leaders, what is the condition of the flock you serve? Are they living behind the veil of God's presence. Are they living in the outer courts or holy place? Where is the fruit of the Spirit in their lives and the true signs of spiritual growth? Pastors are you still the center of their focus, or is the body building itself in love where a man is not lifted up, a ministry is not lifted up, but Jesus alone is glorified?

When they leave your meetings, do they feel good, do they say to you great message pastor, then you probably missed God and did not meet one of his needs, but you met the needs of the people. You may have put the needs of men over the needs of God? Do you know God was satisfied after your meeting? Were you even conscious of his feelings?

Did the people decrease so Christ could increase? Were believer prepared like Peter, John and James, to straightway immediately drop their nets, their jobs, their lives as they knew them to be and follow Jesus? Are the people in your church true disciples or church members. A disciple is like his master in every way. Are they living their live totally surrendered to god and His will?

Do they even know what that means that God requires absolute surrender to His will? Do they know there is only one will, God's will and when we keep choosing what we want in our life, we deny Christ and please our selves, or did you teach them to deny themselves, and gain Christ?

Pastors do you see the evidence of spiritual mature men and women being raised up under you care that can demonstrate and not just speak they have been crucified with Christ, nevertheless they live, but not them, but Christ lives in them.

Are we just building a community of believers, or are is God building a Kingdom of living stones being built up into a spiritual house? We need to be careful to what "form of Godliness' we are yoking up with? One that makes the needs of men first, or one that meets the needs of God first.

When God spoke to my heart Matthew 10, I had no idea the state of the church was really in and how many lost sheep their are. These are not sheep rebellious and not going to church, these were right inside the church walls going to church and probably sitting on the board of directors.

What makes them lost? When they loose sight of the kingdom of God. When thy are living for 2 wills, theirs and Gods. When they are living a life still full of sin and not pursing the holiness of God with all their heart to be worked in them. Is everything funny these days?

Why do Pastors have to put 100 jokes in their sermons, and fill it with self help techniques and not the Spirit of God that would convict many of their sin? Have you replaced their intimate relationship with God with you, minister of God, and your church ministry? Have you unknowingly taken them from their first love and focused on works alone?

Jesus said, I know your works, they are more numerous than at first, and you try those who say they are apostles and are not, nevertheless I HAVE ONE CHARGE AGAINST YOU, YOU HAVE DESERTED ME YOUR FIRST LOVE.

Beloved, all of Revelation 2 and 3 speak of a church and a people who are lost. They are lost from the true and full gospel message of the Kingdom of God.

They only have the gospel of salvation from their sins, the gospel of go to church and be a good church member, but the life of a true disciples of Jesus Christ is not seen anywhere in their lives.

God is rising up a company of a new breed of leadership that will have this message burning in them to turn God's peoples hearts back to him and they will have a word of consequence in their mouths to back up what they say.

There words will be in the power and demonstration of the Holy Spirit causing a true and genuine repentance in the church first and then the world.

To the 12, he told them don't take any money with you, no collection bags, nothing. Why not? For the worker is worthy of his wages.

Any house that welcomes you stay there and if they welcome you, let your peace be upon it, but if they don't welcome you or the city doesn't shake the dust of your feet for judgment is coming to them worse than Sodom and Gomorah!

God is sending a new breed of leadership that won't fear men, or even religious leaders. They will speak the truth in love, but in a boldness we have never seen filled with the very fire of God burning in their bones.

Will these ministers be seen the same as those who are doing great community outreach? Will they get the respect and love and care because of the work they are called to do in the house?

Or will they be persecuted, thrown out and spoken evil of because they church and leaders reject the true work of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit that would refine each one like gold and silver.

When there work has a need they will be accused of "begging for money."Will they be accused of not wanting to work and every other evil work. Yet Jesus says in Matthew chapter 10, "the workman is worthy of his wages?"

This new breed will be seen as being the off scourge of the earth of no value since they are not winning the lost at all cost. The work they are called to do "inside of the house" will not be considered real "missionary work" because "missionaries" just reach to lost. Yet there is an apostolic/prophetic mission work in the house of God that needs the remnant support to do that work as much as reaching the Lord.

All types of evil will be spoken of this new breed sent to God's house to prepare a people for the Kingdom of God age coming upon the Earth. . That is the rest of Matthew 10 you should finish reading it. It will be a life of suffering for these sent ones, but they will go willingly and lovingly even if their needs are neglected by those they are sent to.

Why is this work any less God then those who are doing outreach to the lost. God is doing his "outreach" to the lost in his house? Those who have no clear vision of the Kingdom of God and what a life in Christ is and his life being lived in them?

When I was 2 months old in the Lord, God said to me this is building block one, and underline it,  and this is  what I called you to do? It is not glamorous and not even popular work of God,  and it is looked down upon the religious leaders of our day as well and religious people who are holding God's people in bondage.  This bondage allows a Christian to live for 2 wills. They can live to do their will as often as they choose and do God's will as often as they choose.

Beloved there are not 2 wills in God's kingdom, just one. THY WILL BE DONE!

Is Jesus coming back for a church living for 2 wills, cold and lukewarm.? Is He going to allow his leaders like that who have grown cold to his real desires enter and possess the keys to kingdom? Hardly!

The true foundation of Christ must be fully laid. Jesus is our savior not only from our past sins, but from the power of sin completely in our life. He is Lord of all! There is no lesser standard and no lesser Gospel.This is building block one, and God is now bringing it forth in our midst, the likes we have never seen before.

God is rising up Kingdom full Grown sons and daughters led by the Spirit of God now. Wil you support and join in with  them with your life poured out as  drink offering? Will you sow financially to them to do their work in the Lord out of love? Like Priscilla and Aquila, and the church at Philippi did for the Apostle Paul? Will you pray for these apostolic/prophetic missionaries like they did for Peter and Paul?

This is the time to open our eyes to what God truly desires, a dwelling place within us and us within him forever more. A brother needed a van to travel in Nigeria to reach all the villages in that area. When people heard about it this, churches, and other ministries they all came together to buy this minister a brand new van. They saw the value of the ministry.

Conversely, I have had to personally put a new engine in my SUV and a transmission, and now even have to put a front and rear differentials in my car, but who would see that the need I have a missionary is no less than our Brother in Nigeria? He needed his SUV to go where he was sent? Is the work of the house of God any less of value than winning the lost.

Don't I as well? I am not trying to make this personal, but to use an example of the two different mission works, one to the house of God, and one to the lost.  Which one is more important than the other? Religious folks would say the Nigerian Pastor's need is greater because they are poor.

True missionaries are the same, often they can't work cause they are being sent. They all have family needs to meet. They all have cost to travel and care for God's sheep. We need to see God's work as one, whether to the lost or the household of God.

If I were in Africa feeding the hungry or in the inner city the need for my SUV repair would be seen as crucial, how many would rise up and help immediately help because of the poor they minister to. But there are spiritual poor in the house of God. There are spiritual sick in the house of God. There are spiritual devils to be removed from influencing people in the House of God.

There are spiritual prisoners in the house of God, and spiritually cold, lukewarm and dead. Are they any less valuable to God? Should we not care and support those called to do that work as well and help them do their "outreach apostolic/prophetic" ministry in the household of God? 

The church in America and the west is in deep trouble. We have abandoned our first love, we have taught a watered down politically correct Gospel that has made Christian "church member" and not true disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.

So Jesus says, GO NOT IN THE WAY OF THE GENTILES, BUT GO TO THE LOST SHEEP IN THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL! This is a major missionary work that God is bringing forth to gather His sheep into the barn and separate the wheat from the chaff. His House will be full. He will have for Jesus a Bride without wrinkle of spot. THE TIME IS HERE!
